Over half a century of The Lakeville Journal is now available online.

Issues published between 1963 and 2016 are now available to you anywhere, anytime; all you need is an internet connection.

The Journal and the Library are working together to digitize all copies of the Lakeville Journal and the Western Connecticut News. To access past issues, click here and browse issues or search for something specific. You can save, download, print and tag articles of interest.  You can even post them on Facebook and Twitter.

To help you get started, on Tuesday, March 27, at 10:00, Library Director, Claudia Cayne, will walk you through how to use this exciting, new resource

This project is made possible by major support from the Scoville Memorial Library, The Salisbury Association and an anonymous donor.  In addition, several individuals and the Friends of the Library have contributed.  The total cost to digitize 188 reels of film and to have them made available online is $25,000.  Over $15,000 has already been raised.  Please consider helping to close the gap by making a tax deductible donation to the library. You can send a check with LJ Digit in the memo line.  You may also make a gift online via the library website and mark LJ Digit in the comment section.
