Neil Schechter

Neil retired last July after 43 years as an academic pediatrician, most recently as Director of the Chronic Pain Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and professor at Harvard Medical School. Neil and his wife Carlota have been part time residents of Salisbury for over 40 years and he and his family consider it their home. His fondness for libraries began as early as middle school when he worked after school in the neighborhood library and continued through various universities where he nestled into libraries to write. Scoville has been a magical place for him and his children and he is happy to help in any way to keep the magic available to future generations.
