Join us for a special, warm welcome to get ready for Spring! Author Caroline Nastro will share her book The Bear Who Couldn’t Sleep, giving children opportunities to engage in pretend play as well as get a behind-the-scenes peek at how her book was made. She will help us celebrate the end of winter as we learn about animals coming out of hibernation for Spring. A festive flower craft will follow our story time.
Best suited for families with children ages Toddler-2nd Grade, but all are welcome!
About the Author:
Caroline Nastro is an award-winning picture book author. Her debut picture book, The Bear Who Couldn’t Sleep, was chosen as a Bank Street Best Picture Book of the Year. She is also the author of Fly, Little Bird, Fly! and Outside Amelia’s Window, a 2023 Bank Street Best Picture Book of the Year. Caroline’s picture books have been translated into Dutch, Chinese, Bahasa Indonesian, Danish, Spanish, German, and Bulgarian. Caroline studied theater and literature at Stanford University, the Yale School of Drama and the Université de Paris-Sorbonne. Check out her website here.
