Self isolating can lead to long stretches of sitting inside and doing nothing. You may think that there is nothing that can remedy the self isolation blues and get you out of the house without endangering others. However, there is! Come learn all about America’s new pastime:Birding. Learn about the birds of Connecticut and New England, the joys of birding, and some helpful tips to get you into birding and out of the house.

Caleb May is an avid birder and senior at Salisbury School. His love of birds started when he was 7 when a Black-capped Chickadee perched 3 feet away from him while doing a routine fill of his birder feeder. Since then he has participated in citizen science bird walks and worked as a volunteer animal rehabilitator for the Sharon Audubon. Recently, he became a free lance writer for Main Street Magazine.
