Bring a bucket or water receptacle and engage with  Jordan Rosenow’s temporary sculpture, Closed Loop, a water fountain created with PVC and a solar powered pump.  We’ll collect water from the Wachocastinook Creek running along side the library, originating on Mt. Riga and fill the sculpture with water. We’ll earn just how connected we are to the Ocean based on our geographic location along the  creek which flows into the Housatonic along Salmon Kill, and out into the ocean at Long Island Sound.  We’ll interact with the work & discuss the waterways and systems that provide our clean drinking water. This program is designed for all ages and will count towards your summer reading challenge!
