Creative Collage: A Winter Workshop for Adults Led by Local Artists Heath Prentis and Lynn Curtis. Relax and enjoy an afternoon playing with colorful papers, glue, pictures, and paints You will either end up with a finished project or be well on your way to completion having discovered a wealth of creative ways to experiment with colorful materials. Both artists particularly enjoy putting shapes, colors, and textures together using imaginative vision. This workshop is suited for anyone looking for a fun way to make art, and artists who need a little infusion of the creative spirit.
Lynn Curtis grew up in the art-filled city of Portland, Oregon, and has lived and worked in Connecticut for the past 35 years. She is primarily a painter but has been doing expressive collage since 1994; color, design, and experimentation are her “rocket fuel”. Curtis and Prentis are staff members at the Scoville Memorial Library when they are not otherwise engaged making art.
