Join us for a spirited and interactive family concert at the library with local author, songwriter, and performer Danny Tieger! The concert is geared toward the Pre-K crowd; however, all family members are welcome to join us. Online registration is appreciated!
Danny Tieger is an author, songwriter, and performer who specializes in making never-before-thought-of-things come to life. He is an accomplished composer who first gained wide-spread from the internet in 2009 for his song "Sunburnt Hand," which he sang as a duet with Julia Nunes. Danny's work with the kids and family podcast StoryPirates inspired him to write and publish two books about creativity for children, I Am Your Songwriting Journal and Let's Make a Movie. He appeared nightly in the national tour of Matilda the Musical as Michael Wormwood. Danny teaches songwriting workshops for children of all ages, and hosts online music concerts for preschool-aged children. He lives in Lakeville, CT with his wife and two sons and is the director of Performing arts at Indian Mountain School.
