Be a part of the magic!

Every Easter, since 2008, in Berkshire County, MA., an anonymous person (the Guerilla Bunny) has hidden exquisitely hand painted eggs for her community (Stockbridge) to find. Each hand blown egg takes between 2 and 10 hours to paint, using the thinnest brush available.
This gem of a film is about life, fragility, art as a healing force and one woman’s project to create magic in a time when magic felt very far away.
HOW CAN I BE PART OF THE MAGIC?
Scoville Memorial Library will be distributing plain wooden and ceramic eggs for any interested child or adult to decorate – and relinquish! The plain eggs will be available for pick-up starting Wed. March 17. We ask that the eggs be returned, decorated, to the library by Friday, March 26. They will be hidden on library grounds and up and down the rail trail behind the library (along with plenty of candy eggs) on March 27th, for our annual, slightly tweaked, Egg Hunt.
The Egg Hunt will have a “soft” start at 10 am & will wrap-up at 4 pm on that Saturday. Library staff will replenish hidden stash through-out the day, so there is no need to arrive at any set time. We ask that you take no more than 5 candy/toy and one wooden/decorated egg per child.
