An “antique” dollhouse has been renovated, newly decorated and furnished by Inge Heckel and Jeff Hamlin, the proceeds of which will support programs at the Scoville Library sponsored by the Friends.
The fully furnished house has two floors, an attic and a porch. There are five rooms: an eat-in kitchen currently inhabited by Emma, a little girl, and five dogs; an elegant living room with a fireplace; a beautiful bedroom with a handmade coverlet; an upstairs landing that serves as a reading nook and artist’s studio; and a black and white bathroom with toile wallpaper and a tile-patterned floor. The doll house measures 31 inches wide by 22 inches deep and 28 inches high.
Minimum Bid: $500.
Incremental bids: Minimum of $50.
Bidding opens: Friday, November 27th at 12:00 noon.
Bidding closes: Friday, December 18th at 5:00 pm.
The auction winner will be notified on December 19th. Please be sure to provide us with a valid email address or phone number upon registering your bid so we can be sure to reach you. Payment can be made by check to Friends of Scoville Library in advance of delivery.
The doll house will be delivered and installed locally at no charge.
