The Friends of Scoville Library accept donations of books for their ongoing book sales every Monday, unless noted. The main library is closed on Mondays, but when coming with donations, knock on one of the doors at the rear of the building or use the doorbell. One of the volunteers will meet you at the door.
All proceeds benefit the library’s programs. Donated books should be:
- Clean and in good condition so that they will be appealing to other readers.
- Relatively dust free, not discolored or written in.
- Structurally sound with intact binding and pages which are not ripped.
Please, no textbooks, encyclopedias, dictionaries, or travel guides older than four years. Contact the Friends to make other arrangements if you cannot come on Monday.
