Traditional spiritual practices and modern neuroscience both contribute to an understanding that it is possible to develop a lasting and sustainable sense of well-being. Kathy Voldstad, a meditation and yoga teacher with advanced degrees in clinical psychology will lead this exploration using contemplative practices and contemporary psychology to develop life’s most important skill.
This is not a book group and no background reading is required, but there are two books that participants might find interesting. Happiness by Matthieu Ricard and Authentic Happiness by Martin E.P. Seligman, PhD.
