Program Type:
Storytime and Children's ProgrammingProgram Description
Event Details
Put on your PJs and bring your favorite stuffed animal for a “bedtime” story time at the library! Author Caroline Nastro will share her book The Bear Who Couldn’t Sleep, giving children opportunities to engage in pretend play as well as get a behind-the-scenes peek at how her book was made. Finally, she’ll help us tuck our Stuffies in for a slumber party at the library.
Although we will put the Stuffies to sleep before heading home, you never know what they might get up to in the night while they stay at the library...we'll make sure to take pictures of the sleepover and share them with you! Drop by the library anytime during open hours to pick up your Stuffy after their slumber party, OR, join us the next day for our Stuffy "Tea" Party! If you sign up for both events, your Stuffy will be waiting at a table to join you for "tea" and lunch. Note, the "tea" will actually be juice served in a tea pot.
Best suited for families with children ages Toddler-2nd Grade, but all are welcome!
Important Registration Notes:
Online Registration for this program is required, so we can make sure to have plenty of tea time treats!
Please register for the number of people that will be attending in your group. For example, a group with 1 parent and two children should register for 3 spots.
If you would like to attend both the Author Storytime/Sleepover and the Stuffy Tea Party the next day, make sure to register for both events individually.
