Kick off the start of the Summer Reading Season with “The Storycrafters!”

Barry Marshall, and Jeri Burns, PhD have been working together as The Storycrafters since 1991.  They strive to honor world cultures by telling the old stories in respectful ways, often integrating the musical instruments, songs or dances indigenous to that region. Then of course, look out for their original modern renditions of the oldest stories … some of their most requested material. They are the 2018 recipients of the National Storytelling Network’s “Circle of Excellence” Award.

This special presentation is being presented by “The Fellowship of the Books” –  Scoville Memorial Library, The Amenia Library, NorthEast-Millerton Library, Pine Plains Library and the Roeliff-Jansen Community Library and the are teaming up this summer to offer joint programming to our children and families!
