This year, Take Your Child to the Library Day coincides with one of Salisbury’s biggest events of the year, The Salisbury Winter Sports Association Jumpfest! HVRHS’ artgarage is also on-hand providing a community art exercise in global kindness!

On your way to or in between jumps, stop by the library with your family to enjoy an exhibition of Roy Sherwood (Salisbury’s own Olympic jumper) memorabilia and s’mores around the outdoor fire pits and some fun activities for kids inside to shake out the chills!

Join us and Housy’s artgarage in a campaign to make art not war with their “Ukraine Art Envelope Project” raising money to help the cause. Stop by, create art on an envelope, submit it, and attend HVRHS’ exhibit, Friday, February 17th from 4 to 7pm. Materials provided. All proceeds from the sale of the envelopes go to 3 charities supporting the Ukraine.
