Presented by the Norfolk and Scoville Memorial Library
Grab a cup of coffee, (tea optional)  and join us on the first and third Wednesdays of the month in  February and March to chat and connect with each other.
As we learned in the January 27th NY Times Feature, Who’s Making All Those Scam Callsunsuspecting people lost $3.5 billion to telephone scam artists. It’s not just the phone where people are taken for a ride. Our time on the Internet has us receiving email requests from Nigerian princes in need of money, long lost relatives who want to give you an inheritance, or even just average citizens who may be less than honest in their online-dating profiles. Come join us for our next Community Connections event at 10:30 am on Wednesday, February 3rd where we chat about Internet scams. The National Iron Bank will provide a brief presentation and then the floor will be open to anyone who wants to share their own scam experience.

Each hour includes a 15-20 minute presentation on a self-care topic, such as stress reduction, preventing falls, and ways to stay active in winter facilitated by Dr  Kelly Kandra Hughes with guest presenters.  The remaining time will be for discussion and offering moral support among participants.

Let’s help each other get through our COVID-19 winter. ww
