This health and wellness seminar will offer an insightful afternoon fueled by brighter days, warmer weather, and the ancient wisdom of Ayurvedic Medicine. Energize and illuminate with healing supports and strategies for spring and beyond that are rooted in holistic research based practices of this 5,000-year-old medical model.  Find renewed inspiration by attuning to your “whole self health” and providing your mind-body-spirit with the TLC it requires to thrive! We will dive deeply into an overview of core Ayurvedic concepts including history and elemental/doshic theory. The presenter will explore common spring ailments, natural remedies, macrobiotic nutrition guidance, balancing botanicals and herbs, and self-care for the spring season.  This seminar is perfect for someone who is beginning their wellness journey or for those with more seasoned experience. There will be time at the end of the talk for deeper exploration and Q+ A.

 

Jessica Grant is an Ayurvedic Practitioner and owner of Prima Wellness in Litchfield. She has worked in the realm of health and wellness for the past two decades, with extensive studies and formal credentialing in Ayurveda through the Himalayan Institute, Kerala Ayurveda Institute, and Ayurvedic Institute. She also carries certifications in herbalism, indigenous and energetic studies and yoga with both an ERYT and C-IAYT designation as an accredited Yoga Therapist with over 1,000 hours of formal studies. Jessica is also a leader in the holistic mental health arena and a licensed psychotherapist.  Jessica holds a clinical faculty with Yale University’s School of Medicine, has led international and local retreats and seminars, and is devoted to supporting the healing work of others.
